A pilot project with the pay TV broadcaster Premiere had FIEGE apply RFID technology throughout the entire logistical process, from the manufacturer to the retail trade to the end customer. The FIEGE Mega Center in Erfurt acts as a hub in this process for the continuous tracing of consignments.
RFID technologies offer substantial benefits compared to barcode scanning:
